2 Ingredients PITA Bread

Method: Pan-Fry

(Makes 5 Small Flatbreads)

1 1/2 cups self raising flour (more for dusting)

1 cup plain or greek yogurt

1 tbsp olive oil (for pan frying)


Extra flavours that you may want:

( a pinch of these)

salt, dried rosemary, fresh garlic , chilli flakes, dried oregano, cheese.



Preparation:

  • Mix yoghurt and self-raising in a small mixing bowl.

  • Add more self-raising flour and knead the dough until it forms a ball. If It's still sticky, add more flour to the bench.

  • Split the dough into 4 -6 smaller balls. Each ball, knead a little and mix in the extra flavours here (I added dried rosemary!).

  • Roll out with a rolling pin or flatten it out with your palm until half a centimeter in thickness.

  • Heat a small splash of olive oil on a small pan over medium heat.

  • Place the flat bread into the pan and cook for 2 minutes or until lightly brown and then flip and cook on the other side.


Serve with any toppings of your choice.

I had mine with ready-to-go salsa sauce and fresh japanese cucumber!
