Meat Patties with Fresh Apple

Method: Pan-Fry

Ingredients:

(Makes 6 Patties)

250g minced chicken

1 shallot

1 garlic clove

1 small handful of parsley

5-6 mint leaves

1 egg

1/2 cup cornflakes

olive oil (for pan fry)

salt & pepper to season



Preparation:

  • Chop up shallot, garlic, parsley and mint leaves.

  • Remove core and grate the apple.

  • Crush the cornflakes.

  • Add all ingredients into a bowl and mix well.

  • Split and shape the mixture into 6 patties.

  • Heat a large pan with olive oil and cook the meatballs over medium heat for 7-10 minutes or until completely cooked through. 

  • Serve with broccoli or any salad of your choice.
